Hope you have all enjoyed today’s sunshine! Here are a few photos of what’s been going on with the car.
Was so nice today I thought I would spray the rear bumper!
Just a good base coat before we blow over the whole car….

Wow I’m updating my blog!
I have been working on the car recently. Bought some A048Rs for the Alloys and going to pick them up at the weekend.
Cage mounting plates are nearly done and when the welder returns back from my dads I can finish the job off.
Photos to follow soon.
Drive safe!
No excuses It’s been a while and no updates = Lame….
Here are a few photos I took the other day. Car is moving on slowly finishing bits off here and there.

The plaque in this photo did not come as standard. A club called the MGM Group had them made up for the owners to buy. As you can see my car is number 496. There is believed to be less than 200 Maestro turbos left.
The C02 button will be for spraying the intercooler with you guessed it C02. This will cool the intake temps down.

I have been working on the grill. It never fitted very well and with the removal of the slam panel does not have any thing to mount to. First job was to make it 1.5 cm taller. Which I have done. It fits better now but is still a little rough around the edges. The plan is to wrap it in Carbon Fibre.
Here is a photo with the dash lights on. With the digi dash shining bright and the E01 boost controller over to the right I think it all looks good!
The standard clutch in the Maestro turbos is good for about 200ish BHP . The common upgrade is to use the Rover 220 turbo (T16) Unit. This is a bit bigger so you need to redrill the holes on the flywheel to match. I managed to buy this 2nd hand off a friend with a Maestro turbo so all the work has been done. Should be good for 270+ bhp now.
